Earn Your AA degree
Earning a degree through eLearning at the Seattle Community Colleges is flexible and convenient. The Seattle Community College District offers a coordinated program of study and multiple course options. Choose from classes offered by our three fully accredited community colleges:
The Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree is a 90-credit transfer degree that fulfills the general education requirements for most four-year degrees in arts and sciences, allowing you to transfer to an accredited four-year institution at the junior-level. An A.A. degree with a business emphasis and an Associate in Business (A.B.) degree fulfill many business course requirements for most four-year degrees in business administration.
To earn the A.A. or A.B. degree, you must achieve a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better in courses numbered
100 and above, complete at least 15 credits at the Seattle Community College
awarding the degree and meet the requirements outlined at the following links:

If you are planning to transfer to a four-year institution you must complete all admission requirements at the four-year institution. You should consider possible majors and obtain information about the requirements for the major that you are interested in at the four-year institution.
Note to returning students: The Seattle Community Colleges revised the A.A. degree requirements in 2004. Returning students may choose to fulfill requirements in effect from Fall Quarter 1996 through Spring Quarter 2004. Students who choose this option may do so through Spring Quarter 2009.
