- Directs the operation of the Purchasing department and coordinates services with internal and
external constituencies
- Assure compliance with applicable State of Washington purchasing policies and procedures.
- Initiates and oversees long range planning and development of departmental objectives
to meet organizational goals
- Oversees and provides managerial direction for the development of Request For Bids;
Personal Services and Client Services Contract, Certificate of Participation (COPS),
as well as participation in minority and women enterprises.
- Buyer responsible for purchasing compliance and order placement for the aforementioned campuses.
