The Board of Trustees of College District VI, pursuant to RCW 28B.50.140, is the appointing authority for employees of the District; and RCW 28B.10.528 provides that the Board may delegate any of its powers and duties to the District President or to his designee; and RCW 28B.50.140(14) provides that the Board may delegate any of its powers and duties to the District President. The District President has designated the three campus Presidents (or any acting or interim campus President) as appointing authorities for their respective campuses.

The Board of Trustees of College District VI by this resolution delegates to the District President/Chancellor (or any acting District President Chancellor or interim District President/Chancellor) the appointing authority for the campus Presidents and the Siegal Center personnel.

By this resolution the Chancellor of Community College District VI designates, and the Board of Trustees delegates to the campus Presidents (or any acting campus President or interim campus President) the appointing authority for their respective campuses.

The Board of Trustees of Community College District VI by this resolution delegates to the District Chancellor (or any acting District Chancellor or interim District Chancellor) and to the Vice Chancellor/President of Seattle Central College (or the acting or interim Vice Chancellor/President of SCC) the appointing authority of all employees at the Seattle Vocational Institute. The Board of Trustees of Community College District VI by this resolution delegates to the District Chancellor (or any acting District Chancellor or interim District Chancellor) the appointing authority of all employees at the Battelle Conference Center. The District Chancellor is further authorized in his/her discretion to restrict, limit or otherwise withdraw the exercise of this appointing authority by the Vice Chancellor/President of Seattle Central Community College (or the acting or interim Vice Chancellor/President of SCCC).
