Prospective Students
Programs & Study Options | Associate of Arts
The Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree offers the most direct route for
transfer to a baccalaureate institution (four-year university).
This degree is accepted by most of Washington’s four-year
institutions and often constitutes the first two years of
work toward a bachelor’s degree. Although the lower division
courses concentrate on the general education components of the
degree, students are encouraged to focus these lower division
courses toward their intended majors.
